We passed the FAPAS 2987 Meat Authenticity (Chicken) Proficiency Test!

We are happy to announce that we passed the FAPAS 2987 Meat Authenticity (Chicken) proficiency test, where we correctly identified the presence of beef and pork in the chicken matrix using our method: GS-AT-001 Animal Composition Analysis.

Our solution employs the use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), which shows that the sample comprised of the following species (and their relative abundance) – Gallus gallus (80%), Bos taurus (11%) and Sus scrofa (9%).
